Frequently Asked Questions
Age restrictions for passengers range between 5 years old and less than 80 years of age (those younger or older than this will not be allowed to fly). Passengers will be required to sign a declaration form certifying they do not suffer from serious medical problems such as: heart issues; knee and back bone surgery within the past 6 months ; height phobia; pregnant ladies or physical/mental disabilities that prevent flying ; child age group (5-12 years); however those aged over 12years old are considered adults.
The Balloon flight is generally from September to May with annual variations. Weather in Dubai can be tricky and unpredictable, especially in early spring: but the months of the winter are regularly good for ballooning. Winter flights offer crystal clear views of desert dunes, sun rise, mountains on the south east and the skyline of Dubai on the north – west side.
Yes. As per regulations, all passengers are required to present either a copy of their identification (passport copy/Emirates ID/any Government-issued ID) when making reservations, or bring along an original for their tour.
Balloon flights typically last about one hour; this may vary slightly based on different flying criteria and weather. Balloon landing typically depends on wind direction; once we land our ground crew will follow and bring us back to breakfast area.
If weather does not permit your flight, we advise rescheduling for another available date to avoid missing out on this unforgettable experience. Alternatively, we may validate or refund in full under our cancellation policy.
For our shared packages, we utilize two balloons with capacity for 20 and 24 passengers respectively, as well as one smaller balloon which accommodates only 6 passengers at one time.
