Pickup & logistics

Hotel pickup from most central Dubai zones is built into every safari slot - Marina, JBR, Downtown, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, Bur Dubai, Deira and Al Barsha. Pickup from Sharjah is supported with a small transfer surcharge confirmed upfront. The pickup window is shared on WhatsApp once the slot is locked. Drop-off returns you to the same hotel cluster after camp. See all Dubai pickup zones for the full hotel cluster map.

Pricing guidance

Morning shared safari starts from AED 225 per person; evening with BBQ camp from AED 375 per person; private Land Cruiser from AED 1400 per car (5-6 guests). Final price depends on group size, format, day-of-week and any add-ons (private upgrade, photographer, decoration). We quote the exact figure on WhatsApp before any deposit - never bait, never fake discount. Compare on the pricing & deals hub.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Booking the cheapest evening shared slot when the group needs a private 4x4 - the slot will be split across multiple vehicles.
  • Skipping dietary or allergen notes during booking - the BBQ buffet has a default veg/non-veg setup that may need an adjustment.
  • Wearing sandals on the dune-bashing leg - closed shoes are recommended for the camel ride and sandboarding too.
  • Choosing the morning slot expecting the full BBQ camp evening - morning slots do not include dinner.

Top questions about Desert Safari Dubai

What time does the evening safari pick me up?

Pickup window is roughly 14:30-15:30 in winter and 15:30-16:30 in summer, depending on your hotel cluster. We confirm the exact window on WhatsApp once the slot is locked.

Is alcohol included with the BBQ dinner?

No - alcohol is available at the camp at extra charge (evening slots only). Soft drinks, water, tea and coffee are unlimited and included.

Can the dune bashing be made gentler for kids or motion-sickness guests?

Yes - tell the driver before the bashing leg starts. Drivers manage intensity (mild / standard / extreme) per vehicle. Family slots default to a softer line.

What's included in the camp dinner?

International BBQ buffet with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, plus salads, sides and desserts. Allergen notes are honoured if shared during booking.
