A morning slot starts before the city heat builds. Pickup runs 06:00-08:30 in winter and 06:00-07:00 in summer; you reach the staging area as the corridor wakes up. The dune sand is at its coolest and firmest of the day - the rolling crests are easier to read because the surface has not been churned by earlier convoys.
The route holds the same structure as the standard 1- or 2-hour slot but the photo stops catch the sunrise light angle instead of the sunset. Most photographers prefer morning for the colder colour temperature - bluer shadows, sharper edges, less haze in the distance. The convoy spacing is the same; the line through the corridor is the same; the difference is the air.
By the time the convoy returns to the staging area you have ridden through the cleanest light of the day and finished before the temperature climbs. Most morning slots end before 10:30, leaving the rest of the day open for city activities or rest. Summer mornings particularly suit this slot because the afternoon temperatures genuinely rule out the dune corridor.

Local context & geography
Morning slots benefit from the corridor's east-west geometry - the rising sun catches the dune crests from the east, the same direction that the corridor's high lines run perpendicular to. Sunrise photo stops are aligned to that angle. The corridor surface temperature in summer climbs from cool (~28C) at sunrise to dangerous (~50C+) by 11:00; the morning slot is built around that curve.

How we run it
Morning slots are scheduled differently from sunset slots. The corridor is at its quietest before 09:00; convoy spacing is easier to maintain because there are fewer other operators on the line. We deliberately schedule maintenance and chassis prep around the morning slot start so guests do not arrive to a half-set staging area.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Booking summer afternoon - paused for safety; switch to morning.
