What the experience is like
A group slot starts with the same safety briefing as standard, run group-style at the staging area. We allocate chassis based on the group composition - couples in 2-seaters, families and friend groups in 4-seaters - and the convoy moves out together with the lead guide setting the spacing. Most group bookings include a mix of self-drive and guided chassis to match individual licence and confidence.
The route is the standard 1- or 2-hour with the convoy held together by the lead guide and a sweep guide. The photo stops are coordinated for the group - the line of buggies parks in formation against the dune crest, which photographs particularly well for a corporate or birthday booking. We brief the photographer (if added) on the group context so the shot list captures everyone.
Drop-off coordinates the group back to the same hotel cluster or to a single dinner venue if booked as a group event. Most corporate groups pair the buggy slot with the safari camp combo for a full half-day team event.

Group slots use the standard Al Qudra dune corridor with multiple chassis in formation. The photo stops accommodate the group line-up; we choose the high crests with the widest viewpoint to fit the convoy in frame.
Pickup & meeting points

How we run it
Group bookings are confirmed by quote because the chassis count, route choice and add-on mix vary per booking. We assign a single ops lead to handle the group thread - one WhatsApp number, one confirmation, one cancellation policy. Corporate VAT invoices are issued in the company entity name; we need the trade licence number at booking for the invoice.

Group package per-head rate is meaningfully lower than booking individual slots because of the chassis efficiency and the operator overhead saving. Bulk-booking discount kicks in at 10+ guests.
