What the experience is like
Family bookings have a different priority list from couple or solo bookings. Age and height rules matter; intensity tuning matters; drop-off timing matters because of bedtime; allergens matter because of kid menus. We brief drivers, lead guides and camp staff on the family context at booking so the slot is calibrated rather than improvised.
Different services have different age fits. Camel rides work from age 3 with handler. Family safari works from age 5 with mild bash request. Family 4-seater buggy works from age 6 with parent driving. Junior 110cc quads work from age 6 on the supervised circuit. Hot air balloon has a height minimum (around 1.2m). We map your kids' ages to the right activity at booking.
Most family bookings cluster around the family safari or the buggy + safari combo. Multi-gen bookings work well in private safari format because it accommodates grandparents alongside parents and kids in one vehicle.

Local context & geography
Family slots use the same Al Qudra dune corridor and operator camps as standard bookings. Calibration is in the line, the menu, the pacing - not the geography.
Pickup & meeting points
Hotel pickup with larger vehicle for family count. Drop-off coordinated to avoid late return with younger kids - typically 21:30 vs the 22:30 standard for adult-only safari bookings. See our Dubai pickup zones for the full hotel cluster map.
How we run it
Family bookings are a meaningful share of our work and we calibrate accordingly. Drivers default to mild bash for any vehicle carrying kids; camp staff prepare kid-friendly menu items in parallel; vehicle allocation accounts for car-seat-age children where possible. We do not push add-ons that do not match the family brief.
Pricing in plain English
Family bookings often have reduced kid pricing on selected slots - typically below 12 years. Combo bookings save on transfer cost. Final price on WhatsApp once we know kid ages and chosen format.
